Women have been seen to be successful as entrepreneurs, however female entrepreneurs are constantly facing challenges that could be a setback. In the face of these challenges

40% female entrepreneurs make up the total number of entrepreneurs in Nigeria, this was stated by BBC. This is a large percentage compared to other countries. There has been a recent growing interest for women entrepreneurs considering their challenges and gender based issues facing their businesses, still in accordance with the sustainable development goals by the united nations, explains the need for more awareness of the female gender and their impact to the world.

female entrepreneurs need to build their network, and also capitalize on their network including close friends and acquaintances in search of funding and opportunities, mentorship, invite women on panels and partner with female owned businesses, female entrepreneurs should seek to improve themselves continuously through the network and resources available.

Several communities have been heard to create coworking spaces mostly for women entrepreneurs, this can serve as a large network of women entrepreneurs and a window to limitless opportunity for women. This working spaces would enhance event planning, collaboration among female entrepreneurs and would also attract investors, sector stakeholders. Tech  enthusiast and thought leaders.

Women constantly face challenges that are usually not faced by men such as a lack of mentoring, funding, and some times cultural and  political crises.

The society can improve the situation around female entrepreneur by granting
Female owned businesses investment through venture funds and social capital.
Making grant, loan program and crowdfunding available for female entrepreneurs, policies and regulation that would favour female entrepreneurs.
There is urgent need for organized events that consist of a large network of women and experienced entrepreneur which would serve as a bridge to connect the policy maker, investors and stakeholders to the entrepreneurs.
