HOOD FOR GOOD is aimed at improving the collective community, to encourage good environment, colored fences in our neighborhood, planting of flowers and trees.


Hood for Good is a social impact project lunched by an art, craft and creative ideas organization “UKAMP studio’ it is a subsidiary initiative of the franque fire enterprise.

HOOD FOR GOOD was founded officially in 2019 by the UKAMP team, activities kicked off December 21, 2019 at the Federal Housing Estate New Owerri.

On December 21st, 2019, we painted fences in the neighborhood for free,

Hood party to improve the beauty of the place encourage social interaction, security in the neighborhood, while promoting a healthy and better environment, we also emphasized creating a positive impact in our community environment, involving everyone

Ladies came out to support 

Hood for Good experienced it's fair share of challenges but it turned out been a good seed planted in the midst of thorns.

Reaction by people wasn't so exciting at the initial point. Francis the brain behind UKAMP studio was verbally attacked and fought by a furious person who thought the idea was selfishly based on the growth of the UKAMP as a company.

We involved the NOYO (New Owerri Youth Organization) who provided us with a wider scope in the entire New owerri and promised to adopt the idea to reach every corner of our community.

MY NYSC STORY I have realized that NYSC was no scam for me. The experience was awesome and I was able to achieve so much. I built capacity, and got ready for the outside world. My name is Victor Agu, a former Kwara corper (2018 batch C1) and I have the following experiences to share. As I write, quick memories of how I admired serving as a kid continue to flood my mind. However, I’m both happy and grateful to God that I lived out my childhood admirations. OK, let’s go on a journey: As a very near first class Economics graduate{4.40/5.00} from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun state; I left school heavily wounded and dented, as I got kicked out of a first class in only my last semester on campus. The why and how is a story for another day. But then, I also left school back to Lagos with much zest, fire, a reason to live out my dreams and to stay at the top of my game. I quickly applied around, attended a couple of interviews and worked a little on arriving Lagos.

CDs group educate Secondary School in Kiama on Gender Equality.  The CDs president, thought the students the CDs slogan... Which is putting smiles on people's face and promoting gender equality in the society. It was another joyful moment for student's of Shalom school, located in kaiama local government of Kwara state when charity and gender CDs group visited the school for their monthly advocacy. Welcoming the group, the principal Mrs Aluko said its a rare privilege for the group to have chosen her school for their sensitization program for the month.
