The Best Time to Write Your Curriculum Vitae (CV) by Richard Okiasi

Image
The Best Time to Write Your Curriculum Vitae (CV) Your CV is not best written when you have an interview tomorrow or next week. I like saying that CV writing requires patience and articulate calm. Be patient about the process.  By; Richard Okiasi For many reasons, writing can be a lot to handle, and when it comes to CV writing, we have basically two set of people; those who like to write it themselves, and those who prefer someone else helping them write it. Whichever category you find yourself, you are not alone. Writing a winning CV takes a lot of patience and it's not as simple as some CV websites (the ones that Promise you a CV in 1hour) make it sound. Whether you are in the first or second category above, the best time to write your CV is when you are relaxed. When you are not in a haste to submit your application, when you can articulate the things you want to include in your CV in other to show your value to your recruiter. Your CV is not best written whe

Earn with your skill through Freelancing By; Omisore Mayowa Emmanuel Any realistic person would agree that these days more freelancers are working in various fields than any other time in recent memory, and quite a bit of this explosion is directly identified with the rise of the Internet. Freelancing simply means selling your skill (such as Coding, Writing, graphic designing, Website Building, photography, digital marketing, Telemarketing, customer care assistant, Software development, professional services etc.) on the internet in a digital format to a buyer (client). These days, a freelancer is characterized as somebody who sells his or her services to employers or customers without a lasting contract. Freelancing is a term being used more and more often these days. Though, it was not always like this. Whenever you hear the word ‘freelancing’, there are some words like the internet, computer or smartphone that come to mind and this is quite expected because these

ROLE OF MOTHERS IN CURBING RAPE MENTALITY IN A MALE CHILD By; EKEH,JENNBRIGHT C

Image
ROLE OF MOTHERS IN CURBING RAPE MENTALITY IN A MALE CHILD By; EKEH,JENNBRIGHT  Rape is not a hobby but a habit which comes as a result of faulty ideas that have beclouded our thinking faculty With the level of molestation going on, one would be scared of raising a child in this world. These days you see kids displaying all sorts of unbecoming behaviour. In a world where morality have been trodden under feet and replaced by immorality which have subsequently gained ascendancy over our senses of reasoning and moral justification, the agitation against sexual assault would amount to nothing much and further destabilize the society while increasing disunity if the rising menace of rape is not controlled from the root which implies raising the kids religiously, morally and committedly. A child’s upbringing is massively determined by parental guidance and the environment, thus; the right values instilled in a child shapes his mindset and mentality. With the level of es

COSMOS By; SETH BOSSKAY (Poetry)

COSMOS By; SETH BOSSKAY Earth is a paradise; In between her sultry thighs Lies the route to heaven. The sky is a magic cloak; Heroes only become legends After sprinting with the footing she offers. Milky Way is home; The stardust that ignited the source of humanity’s origin Is a product of her orgasm. Space, a void filled but not to the brim; Within her faithful womb Stands multiples of the stiffest erections known to mankind─ The foundations that hold the entire universe in place. The climax of it all? LIFE; A microcosm of eternity formed in an existence Devoid of yesterdays, todays and tomorrows But travels through a conduit; Time ─ a facade fashioned by man to help him forget of the hereafter. 5 Steps to avoid Procrastination and Fear by Richard Okiasi

5 Checks to Overcome Procrastination and Fear When You Have a Vision/Goal By Richard Okiasi Picture this: You have an idea that will wow the world, it's fresh, it's new, it's everything amazing. If you put the idea to work your friends will love it, your parents will be proud of you, the government will immortalize your name. You think through the idea again, you are blow away, you can't get enough, you fantasize a little more about it. You vow that you'll do it, you convince yourself that you can. Feeling like Obama you scream out "Yes! I Can." Two days down the line you still haven't started a thing or moved a pin to achieve this mind blowing idea. You vow that you'll start the next day, the next day you swear it must be the next day. 1 month, 2 months, 3, now we are in 4 you have started loosing touch of what the idea really is, what's the goal or target again? All of a sudden "Yes I can" turns to "Why

YOU CANNOT GET BY PRAYER WHAT YOU SHOULD GET BY CHARACTER & OBEDIENCE*

Image
* YOU CANNOT GET BY PRAYER WHAT YOU SHOULD GET BY CHARACTER & OBEDIENCE* The Guardian © Gbenga Adebambo A man’s character is his fate! Thomas Jefferson, the third President of the United States (US), said: “Nothing can stop the man with the *right mental attitude* from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the *wrong mental attitude*.” As a clergyman, I have watched pitiably how people self-sabotage themselves by seeking spiritual solutions to character-deficit issues. They look around at everybody as suspects for their predicaments when their greatest demons lurks within them - their character. What we often call our destiny is truly our character, and since that character can change, then destiny can be altered. *Character is destiny* . Is prayer actually EVERYTHING? Many would begin to argue back and forth on this intriguing question, but my main purpose of writing this piece is not to get involved in arguments. _Arguments don’t improve the

A transfer window to remember for the Gunners By; Anayo Anslem Onyeka

A transfer window to remember for the Gunners By; Anayo Anslem Onyeka Waking up on a Friday Morning after the eve of the transfer window closure in England. The news of arsenal having one of the best transfer seasons of the Emirate era isn't something not wanting to talk about. The nature in which the season ended after a thumping 4-1 loss to Chelsea in the Europa league final, coupled with missing out on the top 4 meant we were subjected to yet another season of Europa league football. If the rumor of us having a slim budjet of £45m to work with wasn't demoralizing, the slow nature of how the transfer business kick started was a sign not to expect much. It all started with the appointment of former invisible, Edu as the new technical director. Working along side the Manager, Unai Emery and promoted Raul Sanllehi as head of football. O Raul, little did we know what he had up his sleeves. For the first time ever, all key areas needing for reinforcements were add
