Jollof Spaghetti and Beans Recipe

Hi everyone, I am back again with the ending part of my series on breakfast, lunch and dinner. This last combo would be Jellof Spaghetti and Beans(Ewa) for dinner. This combo is also loaded with lots of essential nutrients like carbohydrates (from the spaghetti), proteins (from the beans), vitamins and minerals (from the tomato) and fats and oil (from the vegetable oil). Some people would be looking at this combo as weird but try it out and enjoy this delicious meal.
Ingredients:
1 pack of spaghetti
I sachet of tomato paste
Ground crayfish (2 tablespoon)
I cup of beans (milk or iron type preferably because they cook faster)
Maggi ( 2 cubes)
Salt ( to taste)
Ground dried pepper( cameroun type for a better taste)
Vegetable oil
2 bulbs of onions
Procedure:
1. Sort the beans by picking.
2. Put 2 cups of water in a pot and put on fire to boil.
3. Pour your already picked beans into the boiling water.
4. Cook the beans till it is very soft.
5. Sieve out the water and leave to drain in a sieve.
6. Put 3 cups of water back into the pot to boil.
7. Break the spaghetti pasta to desired size in a bowl.
8. When the water starts boiling add the pasta, a spoon of vegetable oil (to prevent the pasta from sticking together) and salt to taste.
9. Cook the pasta until desired soft texture.
10. Sieve out water and leave to drain too.
11. Rinse the pot and put back on fire to dry.
12. Add one cooking spoon of vegetable oil to the pot.
13. Add chopped onions and tomato paste and stir to fry.
14. Add salt, ground pepper and crayfish to taste and stir to fry.
15. Add half cup of water to the mixture and allow to cook for 5 minutes.
16. Reduce heat then add the cooked spaghetti and beans and mix very well (the cooked spaghetti and beans should not be kept for too long).
17. Food is ready, Serve and enjoy😎.

Hummm this is a new one. The combo is great judging from the health benefits of the combo. Spaghetti easy to digest and beans a good source of protein... good one Chiamaka.
