6 Creative Thinking Hats for Ideas & Solving Problems by Richard Okiasi

Image
6 Creative Thinking Hats for Processing Ideas & Solving Problems”  By; Richard Okiasi I just got off the phone with a friend; we have not talked to each other for a long time, so we had a lot to talk about, business, future plans, current project, women, marriage etc. The highlight of our conversation was our undergraduate days, we had a lot to reminisce and laugh about. During the course of our conversation, he brought to my knowledge something I taught him back in school. It was the “6 hats” for creative thinking that I learnt in a leadership workshop from one coach Obafemi. You see, my friend was a leader in the same organization with me back in school but he was having serious issues processing his thoughts/ideas or deciding how to approach his plans. Things were getting out of hand as my friend was taking lots of error and was beginning to look incompetent. He was coming up with half processed ideas to meetings and when people probed further with critica...

CYCLE OF HURT AND REBOUNDS by; Erharhine Susan

Image
CYCLE OF HURT AND REBOUNDS By; Erharhine Susan Rebound is an undefined period of romance which sets off after a break up or a broken relationship. It is tagged as a substitute a replacement of the old love “Rebound” and “Moving on” do this two words mean the same thing or are they separately interrelated? Rebound is mostly identified with the female gender, am not trying to discard the slightly chances of the male gender in one way or the other having gone through a phase such as this. Rebound is an undefined period of romance which sets off after a break up or a broken relationship. It is tagged as a substitute a replacement of the old love. Rebound is actually an healing phase, a period of moving on and getting over what has been left behind. Why do most ladies have rebounds?...... one thing is for sure certainly to fill up the gap left behind by an Ex-partner. When in a period of hurt considered healthy, from my perspective that individual is in a place of contempt, ...

WITHIN THOSE WALLS by Success Enai Blessing

Image
WITHIN THOSE WALLS by; Success Enai Blessing It flashed again, this time she would not shake it off like she used to, She had suppressed it for a long time and it seemed like she was doing well at pretending it never happened...waking up naked...too weak to even bathe...the rude nurse giving injections...oh No!!!  it is coming back again...she may just lose this battle suppressing the images because it happened. As she sat and watched this movie .The Movie, that brought all the memories back strongly...running so fast she could not control. As she stared at the television....She saw it...Her life...Only it was someone else playing the character. Someone  will get paid. There would be a Cut!!! Action!!! and its a Wrap!!! and this actress would go on with her life like nothing happened. No sleepless night, no cries, no what ifs, because it did not really happen to the actress...it happened to her.  She could not express the emotion, she knew she was weak...

The Best Time to Write Your Curriculum Vitae (CV) by Richard Okiasi

Image
The Best Time to Write Your Curriculum Vitae (CV) Your CV is not best written when you have an interview tomorrow or next week. I like saying that CV writing requires patience and articulate calm. Be patient about the process.  By; Richard Okiasi For many reasons, writing can be a lot to handle, and when it comes to CV writing, we have basically two set of people; those who like to write it themselves, and those who prefer someone else helping them write it. Whichever category you find yourself, you are not alone. Writing a winning CV takes a lot of patience and it's not as simple as some CV websites (the ones that Promise you a CV in 1hour) make it sound. Whether you are in the first or second category above, the best time to write your CV is when you are relaxed. When you are not in a haste to submit your application, when you can articulate the things you want to include in your CV in other to show your value to your recruiter. Your CV is not best written whe...

Earn with your skill through Freelancing By; Omisore Mayowa Emmanuel

Image
Earn with your skill through Freelancing By; Omisore Mayowa Emmanuel Any realistic person would agree that these days more freelancers are working in various fields than any other time in recent memory, and quite a bit of this explosion is directly identified with the rise of the Internet. Freelancing simply means selling your skill (such as Coding, Writing, graphic designing, Website Building, photography, digital marketing, Telemarketing, customer care assistant, Software development, professional services etc.) on the internet in a digital format to a buyer (client). These days, a freelancer is characterized as somebody who sells his or her services to employers or customers without a lasting contract. Freelancing is a term being used more and more often these days. Though, it was not always like this. Whenever you hear the word ‘freelancing’, there are some words like the internet, computer or smartphone that come to mind and this is quite expected because these ...

ROLE OF MOTHERS IN CURBING RAPE MENTALITY IN A MALE CHILD By; EKEH,JENNBRIGHT C

Image
ROLE OF MOTHERS IN CURBING RAPE MENTALITY IN A MALE CHILD By; EKEH,JENNBRIGHT  Rape is not a hobby but a habit which comes as a result of faulty ideas that have beclouded our thinking faculty With the level of molestation going on, one would be scared of raising a child in this world. These days you see kids displaying all sorts of unbecoming behaviour. In a world where morality have been trodden under feet and replaced by immorality which have subsequently gained ascendancy over our senses of reasoning and moral justification, the agitation against sexual assault would amount to nothing much and further destabilize the society while increasing disunity if the rising menace of rape is not controlled from the root which implies raising the kids religiously, morally and committedly. A child’s upbringing is massively determined by parental guidance and the environment, thus; the right values instilled in a child shapes his mindset and mentality. With the level o...
